SPOILER ALERT! Don't be a poklan! Go watch the film first if you want to read! GOSH MAN, out 2 weeks...
Yes, that's the second poster from the movie. I dont want to see the (avoiding any profanity) prince's face on my blog because i 'passionately dislike' him. Its was obvious for the guys i was watching with knew i hated his guts cause i kept calling him fa-- yea. Not forgetting Peter. Both were such bad leaders, no wonder they tried to kill the prince. He was soo 'gay' that i couldn't be bother to remember his name. Even the knight rat was a much better leader then he was. In-fact, that rat probably killed more enemies then they did put together. Edmund was actually cool considering i hated him in the first movie.
So yea, the movie was good but too much war-like for Narnia. Its kinda like the hybrid of Harry Potter goes to war in a Lord of the rings set plus nice casting dwarfs. I was kinda disappointed that the only scene of the white witch was behind translucent sheet of ice cause she always gave me the 'chills'.
HAHA- get it? chills, ice queen? yea that was lame.... like Lucy. Out of all the characters, her lines were the worst. Not forgetting lame. Well, cant blame her since she has to go through puberty again. Which also leads me to question, why would they still act a little bit childish after living and a grown up life in Narnia before returning back to the earth? Speaking of earth, it must feel like crap for those 'Telmarineian' people returning back to earth (in the end of the film) only to find out they were going to find themselves in U.K WWII era, before Hitler launched his V2 and bombing abomination (or worse, Poland).
But what about Sussan?.... Well.....She's a girl.... and.... she has freckles. Which is quite cute and-- Yea, miss congeniality. She was ok.
And the ending? Azlan, coming in last min as usual is soo like Azlan. So i cant really complain there. But the trees? Really? Trees? ..... OK, if it was in the book...fine, im cool with that. Plus its kinda hard for that scene not to look like LoTR... In-fact, if i was to imagine Narnia, it would be likely to set it in New Zealand so the spotted same sets as LoTR relationship is hard again to go against. All i can say is that sets were more then perfect, especially the beach and the ruins. Not the tomb.
The movie itself was good, like the storyline for instance. Its a movie and its suppose to tell the story differently from the book; and a good movie it is. Dialog generally was a-ok, but kinda sarcastic for children though. But overall, i enjoyed it; especially the Peter and Miraz's fight - the timeouts! L . O . L
Verdict = B- or 7.5/10
My quotes:
"WHAT? They have MAGIC?" sarcastically when the trees start attacking.
"GAY" and many more insults towards Peter and the Prince.
"Dude, Lucy makes the weirdest friends...." when Lucy hugs the dwarf.
and many more...
After the movie, the 17 of us, YES 17!, went separate ways and left home. Amelia, Shotaro, Qydah, Aiman and Nigel had to leave home, Ameila's cousin had to go to tuition, Adib, Akmal, Rajeev, Fauzi went to eat somewhere and buy Dvds, Mark, Dinesh and Mark taylor hanged at gadong and lastly Sandra, Chris, Marcus and I were gonna go to Kuilap but due to many excuses and faulty reasons, we ended up eating chicken and cashew nuts at food court. Which was good! verdict = A+++ +
Then we just wasted time at chills till we leave at 10.
Didnt take alot of photos and started only when people left..... also i was too tired.
Twas nice outing though! =D
